Milan, November 8th, 2011 – Edison’s Board of Directors during the meeting held on October 28th, approved the project for the merger by incorporation into Edison Spa of Sarmato Energia Spa, which is subject to the direction and coordination of Edison Spa. The project was prepared pursuant to art. 2505 – second paragraph of the Italian Civil Code. Minutes of the meeting, which was recorded on November 2nd in the Register of Milan Companies, is registered and is available to the public at the Company’s Headquarters, at Borsa Italiana and on Edison Spa’s website www.edison.it/en
