We are the second-largest importer of natural gas in Italy and the leading operator in LNG imports. We manage a diversified portfolio that enables us to ensure both security and flexibility in supplying the Italian market.
Strategic development of energy infrastructures
In line with the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan, we are committed to improving the security of supply by supporting the development of a comprehensive infrastructure system based on a multi-source, multi-destination approach. Our gas pipeline projects are supported and co-financed by the European Union due to their high strategic value for Europe's energy security and market competitiveness.
More sustainable transport and access to energy through Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
We aim to make liquefied natural gas (LNG) accessible to the Italian market to reduce emissions in the maritime and heavy road transport sectors, while also enabling the methaneization of areas in the country not yet connected to the grid.
Green gases in support of the transition
To make the transport sector more sustainable and support the most energy-intensive industries, green gases represent a viable alternative to fossil fuels.
Biomethane
We are committed across the entire biomethane value chain, working on its production through our facilities, sourcing it from third-party producers, and commercializing it through a network of service stations across Italy.
Hydrogen
We are actively promoting hydrogen through various projects and research initiatives to harness the potential of hydrogen, collaborating with universities and industrial partners.
