Health and safety
For us at Edison, health and safety in the workplace for employees, workers and people living in areas adjacent to plants and company sites is a priority. We constantly update good prevention practices and involve colleagues and company members in a process of responsible participation.
Well-being and work-life balance
We focus on our employees by promoting flexible working models based on individual responsibility and ensuring work-life balance, with important welfare initiatives, personalised services and support for families.
Employability and employment opportunities
We also support the development of people to ensure employability and employability through continuing training. In 2024, we delivered 236,116 hours of training in total, with an average of 38 hours per person.

Relations with suppliers
We only work with suppliers who guarantee the application of the highest standards of health and safety, respect for human rights, fight against corruption and respect for the environment. We are committed to supporting our suppliers in the continuous improvement of their ESG profile through awareness, training and monitoring of ESG risks.
Value for territories and communities
Creating value for the territory in which it operates means developing shared solutions with local administrations, third sector bodies, associations, schools and stakeholders living on the territories, to promote socio-economic innovation, stimulating local entrepreneurship and promoting direct and induced employment through the activation of local suppliers. Thanks to a widespread presence we consolidate a strong territorial link and solid relations with the communities that live where we are present. We support local culture and excellence by providing the company’s know-how.

We are committed to accompany and encourage customers and partners in a sustainable path towards responsible, safe, efficient and low environmental impact production and consumption, we contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens, economic-environmental of companies and PA, creating added value for its supply chain, also thanks to the contribution of innovation.
Diversification and energy security
Over the years, we have built our portfolio by focusing on diversifying sources of supply to ensure maximum reliability and contribute to the country’s energy security with our position in the natural gas value chain, by which we meet more than 20% of national needs.
