Simone Nisi - Institutions Regulation & Climate Change
Born in Rome in 1983, he holds a degree in Law from the University of Perugia and subsequently obtained a second bachelor’s degree in business management. After an initial professional experience in the legal sector, he joined Edison in 2008 within the Institutional Affairs Department, where over time he held positions of increasing responsibility, contributing to the development of the Group’s institutional relations during a period of profound transformation in the energy sector.
In 2020, he was appointed Director of Institutional Affairs, a role through which he strengthened the management of relations with institutions and main Italian and European business associations.
As of February 1, 2026, he leads Edison Group’s Institutional Affairs, Regulation and Climate Change Division, with responsibility for coordinating relations with national and international institutions and overseeing the dialogue with energy regulatory authorities. He serves as Vice President of the Italian National Committee of the World Energy Congress (WEC) and represents Edison in numerous Italian and European energy sector associations, contributing to discussions on energy policies and the decarbonization pathway.
