Proximity to customers
Customer proximity, central to our sustainability vision, is reflected in the trust-based relationship we establish through transparency, closeness, and reliability, which we develop into a long-term partnership. With the commitment to guide and encourage customers and partners on a sustainability journey towards responsible, safe, efficient production and consumption with a reduced environmental impact, we contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens, the economic-environmental sustainability of businesses and public administrations, creating added value for the entire supply chain, also thanks to the contribution of innovation.
Customer relations
Our commitment is to ensure the safety and well-being of consumers by adopting practices that protect rights and comply with regulations. We work to maintain a transparent and proactive relationship with customers, monitoring their satisfaction and implementing sustainable solutions to address environmental and social needs. We collaborate with the consumer associations of the CNCU and conduct surveys, such as the Edison-Censis Observatory, to monitor the preferences of Italian consumers regarding energy sustainability. In 2025, the Edison-Censis Observatory reached its fifth edition, extending the analysis from families to micro and small businesses. This year’s survey focused on the growing spread of the free market and the importance attached to additional services and digital tools for more conscious consumption. The territorial variations in Veneto and Lazio have confirmed a general strengthening of the culture of economic and environmental sustainability. For SMEs, there is a strong need for support in the efficiency and management of energy costs.
To respond more effectively to customer needs, in 2025 Edison Energia expanded the features of “Risolve”, the value-added services platform dedicated to the home, introducing the possibility of requesting and managing the intervention of a craftsman directly through the app. It also launched the new Edison Wallet, which allows you to manage and report all payments via the app and the web, also introducing various features and solutions, such as “Buy Now Pay Later”. In this regard, the advertising campaign for the services offered by the Risolve platform has generated a strong impact of monthly requests for technical intervention services, confirming the strong interest from the market. The E-Wallet section was the most visited section of the MyEdison app, with more than 5% of payments made via Buy Now Pay Later since its launch. The number of active customers registered with Myedison mobile is more than 920,000 as of 2025.
On the domestic energy consumption optimisation front, Edison Energia continues to offer Edison CoCo to its residential customers free of charge: a solution powered by artificial intelligence that provides personalised recommendations for consuming less and saving. In 2025, there were more than 500,000 customers registered with Edison Coco. During 2025, the ‘Spendi&Riprendi’ Loyalty Programme was also active, which allows the accumulation of reward points and awards with increasing bonuses in bills. More than 350,000 customers signed up for the programme.
In addition, Edison Energia and Avvera, a company of the Credem Group, have created Splittypay by Avvera, the aforementioned Buy Now Pay Later platform, which allows the deferral of digital payment from 4 to 12 instalments, with a spending limit of 5,000 euros. This solution, which can be activated at enabled Edison stores, is dedicated to the purchase of energy efficiency solutions such as heat pumps and solar thermal. As part of the Risolve ecosystem, in 2025 Edison Energia introduced My Sun Pro, a turnkey offer for photovoltaics dedicated to families who intend to self-produce energy from renewable sources, guaranteeing constant savings.

Decarbonization of industrial customers
We develop integrated energy solutions for industrial and public administration customers, supporting them on their path toward decarbonization, in line with sustainability objectives and the growing environmental awareness of customers and end users.
This is the logic behind Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), long-term contracts through which a producer commits to supplying clean energy at a fixed price, providing certainty both from an environmental and an economic perspective. In 2025, Edison Energia began supplying energy under several of these agreements with major industrial players.
With Prysmian, the global leader in cable systems, supply operations are now active and will cover approximately one quarter of the group’s electricity consumption in Italy, using energy generated by a newly built photovoltaic plant in the province of Viterbo. With Data4, a data center market operator, supply operations began for one of the largest data centers currently operating in Italy, powered by a photovoltaic park in Lazio. Finally, with Ferrovie dello Stato, through FS Energy, a ten-year energy supply agreement began in October using electricity generated by wind farms located in Sicily and Abruzzo.

Energy and technological upgrading of public lighting
Upgrading a city’s lighting system or equipping a hospital with an efficient energy plant are concrete interventions that improve people’s daily lives and contribute to reducing emissions. This is the area in which Edison Next worked throughout 2025, supporting local administrations and healthcare facilities in a locally rooted energy transition process.
In the field of public lighting, two new projects were launched under the Consip GEIP Framework Agreement, the mechanism through which local authorities can access energy upgrading services without independently managing tenders and procedures. In Belluno, Edison Next launched a nine-year program that will convert the city’s entire public lighting network to LED technology, with expected energy savings exceeding 75%. In Massa Lombarda, a similar contract foresees comparable results, with energy consumption reductions of nearly 70%. In Rosignano Marittimo, a 15-year public-private partnership will cover the energy upgrading of the entire city, including the installation of photovoltaic systems on municipal buildings.
Edison Next is currently the energy partner of approximately 800 hospitals across Italy. In 2025, we inaugurated a trigeneration plant at the Policlinico of Palermo, capable of simultaneously producing electricity, heating, and cooling, achieving an overall efficiency rate of 89%. In the healthcare sector, energy efficiency goes beyond reducing consumption: it becomes an enabling condition for the quality of care and a guarantee of continuity for both patients and staff.
