Proximity to customers
Customer proximity, central to our sustainability vision, is reflected in the trust-based relationship we establish through transparency, closeness, and reliability, which we develop into a long-term partnership. With the commitment to guide and encourage customers and partners on a sustainability journey towards responsible, safe, efficient production and consumption with a reduced environmental impact, we contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens, the economic-environmental sustainability of businesses and public administrations, creating added value for the entire supply chain, also thanks to the contribution of innovation.
Relationship with consumers
Our commitment is to ensure the safety and well-being of consumers by adopting practices that protect rights and comply with regulations. We work to maintain a transparent and proactive relationship with customers, monitoring their satisfaction and implementing sustainable solutions to address environmental and social needs. We collaborate with the consumer associations of the CNCU and conduct surveys, such as the Edison-Censis Observatory, to monitor the preferences of Italian consumers regarding energy sustainability. In 2025, the Edison Censis Observatory reached its fifth edition, extending the scope of its analysis from households to micro and small enterprises. This year’s survey focused on the growing spread of the free energy market, as well as on the importance attributed to value‑added services and digital tools for more informed and conscious consumption. The regional deep‑dives conducted in Veneto and Lazio confirmed a general strengthening of economic and environmental sustainability awareness. For SMEs, the survey highlighted a strong need for support in improving energy efficiency and managing energy costs.
To respond more effectively to customer needs, in 2025 Edison Energia expanded the functionalities of “Risolve”, its platform of value‑added home services, by introducing the option to request and manage the intervention of a craftsman directly via the app. The company also launched the new Edison Wallet, which enables users via app and web to manage and track all payments, while offering additional features and solutions, such as “Buy Now, Pay Later”. In this regard, the advertising campaign promoting the services offered through the Risolve platform generated a strong impact in terms of monthly requests for technical services, confirming significant market interest. The E‑Wallet section was the most visited area of the MyEdison app, with more than 5% of payments made via Buy Now, Pay Later since its launch. As of 2025, the number of active customers registered on MyEdison exceeded 920,000.
With regard to the optimisation of household energy consumption, Edison Energia continues to make Edison CoCo available free of charge to its residential customers. This artificial‑intelligence‑powered solution provides personalised recommendations to help customers reduce consumption and save energy. In 2025, more than 500,000 users were registered on Edison CoCo. During 2025, the “Spendi & Riprendi” Loyalty Programme was also active, allowing customers to accumulate reward points and benefit from increasing bill bonuses. More than 350,000 customers enrolled in the programme.
In addition, Edison Energia and Avvera, a company within the Credem Group, launched Splittypay by Avvera, the above‑mentioned Buy Now, Pay Later platform, which enables digital payment instalments ranging from 4 to 12 payments, with a spending cap of €5,000. This solution, available at participating Edison stores, is dedicated to the purchase of energy‑efficiency solutions, such as heat pumps and solar thermal systems. Finally, within the Risolve ecosystem, in 2025 Edison Energia introduced My Sun Pro, a turnkey photovoltaic solution for households wishing to self‑produce energy from renewable sources, ensuring long‑term savings.

Decarbonization of industrial customers
We develop integrated energy solutions for industrial and public administration customers, guiding them on the path to decarbonization, in line with sustainability goals and the growing environmental awareness of customers and end users.
This is the logic of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), multi‑year contracts through which a producer commits to supplying clean energy at a fixed price, providing certainty both from an environmental and an economic perspective. In 2025, Edison Energia began deliveries under several of these agreements with major industrial players.
With Prysmian, a global leader in cable systems, the supply is now operational and will cover approximately one quarter of the Group’s electricity consumption in Italy, generated by a newly built photovoltaic plant in the Province of Viterbo. With Data4, an operator in the data‑center market, supply commenced for one of the largest data centers currently in operation in Italy, powered by a photovoltaic park located in Lazio. Finally, with Ferrovie dello Stato, through FS Energy, a ten‑year supply agreement was launched in October for energy produced by wind farms in Sicily and Abruzzo.

Energy and technological renovation of public lighting
Upgrading a city’s lighting system or equipping a hospital with an efficient energy infrastructure are tangible interventions that improve people’s daily lives while contributing to emissions reduction. This is the area in which Edison Next focused its efforts in 2025, working alongside local authorities and healthcare facilities on a locally grounded energy transition pathway.
In the field of public lighting, two new projects were launched under the Consip GEIP Framework Agreement, the instrument that enables local authorities to access energy efficiency services without managing procurement processes independently. In Belluno, Edison Next launched a nine‑year programme that will lead to the full conversion of the city’s public lighting network to LED technology, with expected energy savings exceeding 75%. In Massa Lombarda, a similar contract foresees comparable results, with an almost 70% reduction in consumption. Finally, in Rosignano Marittimo, a 15‑year public–private partnership will cover the energy redevelopment of the entire city, including the installation of photovoltaic systems on municipal buildings.
Edison Next is currently the energy partner of approximately 800 hospital facilities in Italy. In 2025, it inaugurated a trigeneration plant at the Palermo University Hospital, producing electricity, heat and cooling simultaneously, achieving an overall efficiency of 89%. In the healthcare sector, energy efficiency goes beyond reducing consumption: it becomes an enabling condition for quality care and a guarantee of continuity for patients and healthcare staff.
