Francesca Magliulo - Director EOS Foundation
Francesca joined Edison more than 20 years ago to study the historical photographic archive.
After her studies and research activities in industrial history, she began her corporate experience in communication, immediately focusing on environmental and social projects.
Her personal passion for sustainable development coincided with the company's journey in the field of social responsibility, which formally manifested in 2009 with the establishment of the Sustainability function that she would lead until 2021.
Her work on the sustainability of strategies and business processes is accompanied by stakeholder engagement activities, social projects, and participation in national and international networks and working groups committed to these issues.
In particular, she participated in the founding of the United Nations Global Compact Network Italy, focusing in particular on human rights and inclusion, the Center for Business Culture, and for some years has been a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Tuscia in Viterbo.
She dedicates a good part of her free time to rugby, developing educational, social, and cultural transformation projects.
For many years she had been reflecting on the creation of a social foundation, and the pandemic period provided the necessary impetus to develop a project that would enhance Edison's social dimension and promote a genuine cultural transformation of its people.
