Milan, February 6, 2018 – Edison communicates that, with regard to the binding agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Gas Natural Vendita Italia signed on October 13, 2017 and announced to the market on the same day, the European Commission for Competition has authorized today the transaction, acknowledging its compatibility with the Italian and European markets. Therefore, the only suspensory condition for the transaction’s closing has been satisfied, allowing Edison to increase its retail customer base by 50%. The transfer of the stake will take place according to the contractual terms and within February.
