Edison grows to 50% of Edipower share capital
Milan, January 31st 2008 – As already announced, n. 72,065,000 Edipower’s shares, equivalent to 5% of Edipower’s share capital, were today transferred to Edison Spa from Unicredit Spa. These are the last shares related to the put and call options exercised last July 2007 and foreseen by agreements signed in 2002 and 2003 by Edison and Edipower’s financial shareholders, Unicredit Spa, Interbanca Spa and Albojo (100% The Royal Bank of Scotland).
Following this operation, Edison grows to 50% of Edipower share capital.
