Milan, May 8, 2024 – Edison's Board of Directors expresses its condolences for the premature and sudden loss of Dr. Fabio Gallia, whose great professional, personal, and human qualities have been appreciated over these years.
An acute observer of the national and international economic landscape, a profound connoisseur of governance and corporate and financial dynamics, he possessed a brilliant intellect, broad expertise, keen analytical skills, and consistently offered original insights. He was also characterized by his gentlemanly traits, uncommon sensitivity, and attention to balancing professional commitments with personal and family ones.
Last week, he participated in a two-day outdoor meeting of the Board of Directors of Edison, dedicated to reviewing the Company's strategic plan, where he made valuable contributions and provided his systemic vision. He also enriched the gathering with convivial moments, contributing with his sharp wit and sense of humor.
Appointed director of Edison in April 2019, Fabio Gallia, in his role as an independent administrator, held the role of Chairman of the Control, Risks, and Sustainability Committee and was a member of the Committee for transactions with related parties.
