Edison placed on creditwatch negative by Standard&Poor’s
Milan, May 25, 2022 – On 24th May 2022 Standard & Poor’s placed on CreditWatch negative the 'BBB' long-term rating of Edison SpA, following the same action on the rating of its parent company EDF. Indeed, according to S&P view and methodology, Edison's creditworthiness is capped at the level of EDF's. The CreditWatch indicates the possibility of a one-notch downgrade, and S&P will monitor developments over the next six months.
