Torviscosa thermoelectric power plant

How the facility works

The facility consists of two heavy-duty gas turbines (GT1, GT2), fuelled with natural gas, and their respective alternators, plus two heat-recovery steam generators (HRSG1, HRSG2), a steam turbine (ST) with its alternator (downstream from the two heat-recovery generators) and a water-cooled condenser with a 16-cell cooling tower to lower temperature

The electricity produced on site enters the National Transmission Grid.

Environmental protection and safety

An SME monitoring system is in place for the continuous monitoring of emissions.
