He was born on July 16th 1951 in Lecce. With a degree in Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico in Turin in 1975, Mr Potì obtained the post lauream specialization “G. Agnelli” in Nuclear Engineering in 1976. In the same year, he started his professional career in the nuclear sector as Project Manager in Ansaldo Meccanico Nucleare and General Electric and later in the international sector as Managing Director of Ansaldo do Brasil and lastly at the plant engineering sector as Sales Director of Ansaldo Aerimpianti.
From 1990 to 2001, he held several managerial positions in Italian and foreign companies in the energy and environment sectors.
Joined Edison in 2001 with the responsibility of the Strategies and the Development of Investments. He is currently the Director Institutional & Regulatory Affairs/Power International.
Currently he is Senior Advisor.
