Gas storage

Edison Stoccaggio Spa is the company owned by Edison Group focused on developing and managing gas storage activities.

While it was incorporated on August 2, 2004 to comply with the requirement introduced with the market deregulation, Edison Stoccaggio can draw on a long tradition of expertise in this field. Specifically, it launched its transmissions operations back in 1962, when it built its first gas pipeline, and entered the storage market in the early 1980s, when it converted one of the levels of the Cellino production field into a storage facility.

Edison Stoccaggio operates the folllowing gas storage centres in Italy.
