Edison Energy Camp 2026

Edison, a leading company in the European energy sector, is offering 20 scholarships to take part in the 13th edition of the EDISON ENERGY CAMP – in memory of Marco Peruzzi, former Executive Vice-President for Institutional Affairs, Regulation & Climate Change at Edison, a champion of dialogue, inclusion and respect who left a profound and lasting mark on the energy sector

A training programme on energy-related topics organised in collaboration with Luiss Business School, with the participation of World Energy Council Services Italia.

The following scholarships will be offered:
  • 10 scholarships for final-year undergraduates
  • 10 scholarships for final-year postgraduate
enrolled on one of the following degree programmes:
  • Energy Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Management Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mathematical Engineering
  • Automation Engineering
  • Physics Engineering
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Law (focus on Energy Law)
  • Economics
 
Applicants must be able to provide proof of current enrolment at a university in Italy or elsewhere in Europe (with a certified B2 level of Italian). Preference will be given to candidates planning to write their thesis on a topic related to the energy transition, innovation or an Edison case study. The courses will also be attended by Edison employees recently recruited from the ITS Academy.
Edison will cover the full cost of course fees and accommodation for the in-person sessions.

Upon completion of the course, provided that the participant has attended at least 90% of the sessions, they will be issued with a certificate of attendance by the organising bodies, along with the course materials in electronic format. 
 
The course will be delivered in a blended format, partly via the Luiss Business School E-Learning Platform and partly at the Luiss Business School campuses in Milan and Rome, from 22 June to 3 July 2026, and will consist of the following modules:
  • The geopolitics of energy, the commodities crisis and the sustainability of the transition
  • The energy trilemma and sustainable demand
  • Portfolio and market mix, expected developments for achieving the 2030 targets
  • Circular economy, energy communities and urban regeneration
  • Environmental awareness among industrial operators and decarbonisation technologies
The curriculum is enriched by various practical workshops and insights from industry professionals.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts comprising staff from Luiss Business School and Edison SpA, who will assess the applicants’ academic records and submitted work, and select the most deserving and motivated students.

Selected students will be contacted by 22 May 2026.

Any changes to the number of participants and/or the application deadline will be communicated promptly. Applications with incomplete documentation or received after the deadline will not be considered.
