- He began his professional career at the Falck Group, a steel producer, assuming ever greater responsibilities until, in 1990, he was named General Manager of Falck Nastri.

Bruno Lescoeur

He joined EDF’s General Economic Studies Department in

Vergerio joined Edison in November 2008 as Group Chief Operating
Officer reporting to CEO Umberto Quadrino.
Before joining Edison, he spent 4 years as CEO at Fenice Spa, an
Italian EDF Group company providing eco-energy and co-generation
services to large industrial customers.
Vergerio began his career at EDF in 1975 in Power Transmission and
Delivery Networks and later in International Operations. In 1993 he
moved to Lebanon to head the EDF project for the reconstruction of
the country's electricity network. Returning to France, he ran the
Strasbourg operating unit for four years, before being appointed
Managing Director of EDF's Egyptian branch, building and putting
into operation two 700MW gas fuelled power stations.
Vergerio is a qualified engineer and graduate of the Ecole
Nationale Supérieure d’Electrotechnique, Grenoble.
Gian Michele Mirabelli

After graduating in Business Administration at Università
La Sapienza in Rome, in 1988, he starts his working career at Price
Waterhouse as auditor. After a short experience of one year as
financial analyst at IMI, Istituto Immobiliare Italiano, in 1989 he
joins the General Direction of Ferruzzi Spa, where he remains till
1992, when he is appointed coordinator of Control Area of the
company. In 1995 he enters in Montedison as responsible for
administrative Control of foreign holdings and in 1997 he is
appointed Financial and Control Director of Antibioticos Spa, a
subsidiary of Montedison operating in pharmaceutical business
sector. In April 1998, after having attended an Advanced Management
Training at INSEAD Institute of Fontainebleau, he comes back in
Montedison Spa as responsible for Consolidated Balance and
Reporting of the Group. From June 2003 he is Director of Internal
Audit of Edison Spa.
From April 2005 he is Lecturer and Member of Board of Director and
Executive Committee of AIIA ( Associazione Italiana Internal
Auditors), and member of the Professional Issues Committee of the
Institutes. He is often invited as Lecturer for specialisation
courses related to internal auditing, internal control and risk
management. He has also written a great number of articles and
essays on these themes. He also is Auditor for Carlo Erba
Foundation and registered to the Order of Graduates in Economics
and Commerce of Milan.

- In 1988, after a brief experience as Promotor of the Development of Integrative Social Security in the INA group, he entered Magneti Marelli,company of the FIAT Group operating in the motor vehicle components sector in the area of the Industrial Relations of the Sector.
- From 1990 to 1995 he occupied the position of Personnel Manager in different industrial plants of Magneti Marelli in southern/central and northern Italy, until 1996, when he undertook the responsibility of Personnel Manager of a Division, supervising plants and Companies in Italy, France, Poland, Spain and Turkey.
- In 1998, after the J.V. between Magneti Marelli and R. Bosch in the components sector, he took the position of Personnel Manager of the Company Automotive Lighting, shared equally by the above Companies, supervising the management of 12 plants in Europe, South America and Asia.

Piergiuseppe Biandrino

Professional background
He graduates in Law in 1981 at the University of Pavia and then
takes his Master of Arts and his PHD in the USA. He is ex- student
of Collegio F.lli Cairoli of Pavia and violet of New York
University. After having taught and researched at Pavia and Milan
universities. From 1995 he has been teaching at the University of
Bergamo. He has written about private law, in particular in terms
of contracts and arbitration. He is editor of a Company Law’s
Review. In 1986 he begins his working career as corporate lawyer at
ENI (major Italian oil company), in International Mining
Negotiation Unit of Agip Spa. In 1987 he is appointed responsible
of the Legal Office of Fratelli Branca-Distillerie Spa till 1989,
when he becomes Head of Legal Direction of Camuzzi-Gazometri.
In 1997 he joins Montedison, becoming Head of the Legal Department
in 2000. After companies mergers’ from 2002 he is General
Counsel of Edison. He is member of the Board of Directors of
various companies of Edison Group, one of these is Edipower Spa. He
has held different positions and charges at trade and territorial
associations and from 2005 he is Arbiter of Assolombarda.
He is a booklover and an experienced gentleman driver (he says !).
He loves the country area near Vercelli and Varese, where, with his
wife and their loved Dalmatian dog, he spends his free time
reading, driving sporting cars and gardening.
Roberto Potì

Mr Roberto Potì joined Edison in 2001 with the
responsibility of the Strategies and the Development of
Investments. He is currently the Central Director and coordinates
the Business Units and areas responsible for International Power,
Gas and Electric Infrastructures, Renewable Sources and the Nuclear
Project.
With a degree in Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico in Turin
in1975, Mr Potì obtained the post lauream specialization
“G. Agnelli” in Nuclear Engineering in 1976. In the
same year, he started his professional career in the nuclear sector
as Project Manager in Ansaldo Meccanico Nucleare and General
Electric and later in the international sector as Managing Director
of Ansaldo do Brasil and lastly at the plant engineering sector as
Sales Director of Ansaldo Aerimpianti.
From 1990 to 2001, he held several managerial positions in Italian
and foreign companies in the energy and environment sectors.
Marco Stangalino

Born in Novara, 7 March 1963, married, two children, lives in
Novara.
In 1989 he graduated from Turin Polytechnic with a degree in
Mechanical Engineering, specializing in thermodynamics, qualifying
as a professional engineer in 1990.
He began his career in 1989 at Cameli Petroli holding several
positions including Technology Director for process furnaces at the
Group's various facilities.
In 1992 he joined three other partners to found S.I.P.S.A. Srl
(Sistemi ed Impianti per la Sicurezza Ambientale), to design and
build mobile turn-key incinerators for dangerous special wastes and
the reclamation of polluted land.
From 1994 to 2000 he worked for ENI-Ambiente Spa, initially as Head
of Project Management for plant construction at ENICHEM facilities
in Italy (process furnaces, incinerators and water treatment
plants) and subsequently Director of the ENI-Ambiente plants at
Ferrara and Porto Marghera.
From 2000 to 2001 he worked at Sondel as Director of Development
Italy for merchant CCGT power stations (combined cycle turbogas
plants).
He joined Edison group in 2002, holding until 2008 the position of
Development Director Electrical Assets. His duties included
scouting and development for large CCGT plants under Edison's
“4000 MW Plan” in Italy, directly overseeing the
construction of 1600 MW of capacity.
Since 2008 he is CEO of Edison Energie Speciali Spa (Edens Spa),
which develops, builds and runs the group's renewable energy plants
(wind, hydroelectric, photovoltaic and biomass), with around 400 MW
of installed wind capacity in Italy. He has direct control of
project development and investment in Italy and overseas under the
company's business plan.
Currently he is also in charge of the Edison Spa Nuclear Programme,
coordinating the team responsible for the development and
construction of third generation advanced nuclear power stations in
Italy.
He represents Edison Spa on the board of various Group
companies.
Andrea Testi

Andrea Testi was born on 16 April 1962 in Trieste. He is married
and has one child.
After completing the studies in the Highs School, he entered the
University, Politecnico di Milano, Nuclear Engineering course in
1981. He obtained the laurea cum laude in March, 1987 with a thesis
work on “A Position Sensitive Neutron Detector and its
related Electronics and Data Acquisition System”. During the
studies, he dedicated special attention to the High Energy Physics
and was associated to a major experiment with the Istituto
Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare.
Immediately afterward, he obtained two consultancy jobs, one for
the Politecnico di Milano under a grant from ENEL, the Italian
Electricity Authority, to complete the development of the neutron
detector and the other for LABEN, an aerospace electronics company,
for the feasibility study of the data acquisition system of the
Ariane 5 cryogenic engine test rig, under a contract from the
French Space Agency (CNES).
In 1989 he joined CISE, an applied research company owned by ENEL,
based near Milan. In 1990 he joined ABB Sae Sadelmi, an Engineering
and main Contracting company of the Asea Brown Boveri group. In
1992, he was nominated Chief Engineering Coordinator for a major
power plant project in the United Arab Emirates. This project was a
Turn-Key contract for the supply of a combined Power and
Desalinated Water plant (by a four company international
Consortium. For the completion of this project, in 1994 he moved to
the United Arab Emirates in December, 1995 as manager of the ABB
Sae Sadelmi local Engineering Office, an organisation of
approximately 60 engineers, technicians and draftsmen.
In 2000 he was appointed Managing Director of the Trezzo project
company, the financing of which was signed shortly afterwards.In
February 2001, he joined Enel Produzione in Rome as head of
business development. His main responsibility was to ensure
the business growth of the company both domestic and
internationally.
Andrea joins Edison in 2006 as Head of International Business
Development. Main activities in this position have included so far
defining the international strategic development plan for the
company and launching projects in several countries in
South-Eastern Europe. He has also been appointed managing director
of Thisvi PGP SA, a Greek affiliate of Edison. Currently, his
position is Head of Business Unit Power International.
Elio Ruggeri

Elio Ruggeri was born in Messina on 2 August 1972, is unmarried
and has two children.
He graduated in 1996 in Mechanical Engineering - Energy and
Thermodynamics from the University of Palermo.
After completing a Master's in Business Management at the
Università Statale di Milano, in 1998 he joined the Technical
Department of Edison Gas Spa (now Edison Spa). From 2000 he held
positions of increasing responsibility in business development,
identifying, evaluating and developing new international growth
opportunities in the gas business.
In 2004 he became Business Development Manager for the group's
international operations. In 2008 he was appointed Project Director
for the ITGI and Rosignano LNG projects and Director of Development
at IGI Poseidon SA. In 2009 he came CEO of IGI Poseidon SA.
In 2010 he became Head of International Gas Interconnections.
Nicola De Sanctis

Professional background
After graduating in Nuclear Engineering in 1986 at Pisa
University, he spends one year as Researcher at Nuclear Engineering
Department of Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in Troy (New York).
After short working experiences in SnamProgetti and Erg, he attends
a Master in Business Administration at Insead and enters in Baxter,
multinational company leader in medical sector, as responsible for
Industrial Unit. In 1989 he joins Augusta Spa, an important company
of aeronautical sector, first as responsible for Planning and
Strategy, then as Assistant to the Chairman and Turkey Area
Manager. From 1993 to 2000 he is in Waste Management Spa,
multinational company leader in ecology sector: he then leaves the
Company as Managing Director. In 2000 De Sanctis joins Edison as
Director of Gas Distribution Unit and in 2002 he is appointed
Director of Business Unit Marketing and Mass Market Sales.
From 2005 he is Director of Renewable Sources Unit of the
Group.

He graduates in Political Science in 1980 at Cattolica
University of Milan. In 1986 Fortis starts his working career at
Ferruzzi Montedison Group, where he holds various charges and he is
appointed director of Edison Spa, Edison Gas Spa, Eridania
Beghin-Say, Provimi, Ausimont and Antibioticos. Now he is
responsible for the Economical Studies Department of Edison Spa,
vice-president of Edison Foundation and vice-president of
Scientific Committee of Edison Foundation.
He is Lecturer of Industrial Economy and Foreign Trade at the
Political Science Faculty of Cattolica University of Milan, Member
of Scientific Committee of CRANEC at Cattolica University,
consultant of Economical Observatory of Ministry of Foreign Trade,
vice-president of Guido Donegani Foundation and member of Board of
Directors of Carlo Erba Foundation. From May 2006 to May 2007 he
has been vice-president of Banca Popolare di Intra, of which he has
followed the economic recovery process after the financial crisis
that has menaced the Bank.
He has published a lot of essays and articles, in Italy and abroad,
on Italian economy, industry and industrial zones, technology and
on the development of international trade.
Andrea Prandi

After graduating in Business Administration in the University of
Modena, he starts his professional career writing on the local
newspaper “Il Resto del Carlino” and becoming
journalist in 1991. In 1993 he joins Edelman Public Relations
Worldwide as of Technology Unit’s executive account,
increasing his position becoming senior account and finally account
director. He participates with Edelman’s European Team in
international crises management, becoming, in 1997, Division
Corporate Group’s Head. For one year, in occasion of the
launching of the new mobilphone’s company , he is Omnitel
Press Office’s Chief. In 1998 he starts working in Merloni
Elettrodomestici Spa as Director of Communication and Public
Relations, launching a new brand and introducing a system of
stakeholder relationship management. In 2001 Merloni wins the Oscar
for best Financial Report best Communication, in 2002 the Oscar for
on-line Communication and Webranking for institutional web page www.merloni.com
From 2004 he is Director of External Relations and Communications
of Edison Spa. He also is Councillor of Edison Foundation and
Councillor of Italy-Russia Foundation. From 2005 to 2007 he has
been President of FERPI (Italian Federation of Public
Relations).
Claudio Serracane

After graduating in Chemical Engineering, with specialisation in
Electrochemistry, achieved in 1983 in Torino University, he begins
working in Montefluos Spa as a technologist and then as Responsible
for production of fluorurate rubbers. In 1989 he joins Ginatta Spa,
specialized in the development of new technologies with low
environmental impact on non-ferrous metals’ sector, where he
is responsible of the development of an electrochemical technology
related to lead.
In 1992 he joins Edison Spa in charge of creating a Research Unit,
of which he is responsible from 1993.
Felice Chiappa

Professional background
After graduating in Electro technical Engineering in 1973 at
Polytechnic of Milan, he starts his working career as electric
plants’ Planner for chemical industrial complexes at
Tecnimont Spa in Milan.
After two years he joins Ercole Marelli EMG, where he remains till
1987 holding various positions: Vice Site-Project Manager at Riyadh
plant in Arabia, Project Manager at Diversified Plants Unit,
Project Manager and Responsible of Contracts and Constructions
Sites of Energy Unit. In 1987 he enters in Edison as Vice Director
First Plants Group of Bolzano, then Director of Thirs Plants Group
of Milan, and finally Director Second Plants Group of Porto
Marghera.
In 1993 he is appointed Proposal Manager and responsible for
Engineering Services at Engineering Direction, then in 1995 he
becomes Responsible for Plants and Materials Supplying Direction.
From 1998 he is Procurement Director of Edison Spa.
Giambattista Retegno

Professional background
After a Degree in Civil Engineering at Polytechnic of Milan, he
starts his working career in 1975 as Project Engineer in GIE, an
international general contracting company, in the electric energy
generation and transport sector, where he is responsible for civil
design of thermoelectric power stations till 1983. In 1977 he is
detached, as Assistant of Civil Yard’s Chief at SICOM, in
order to manage the civil construction site of a thermoelectric
power plant in Morocco. In 1983 he joins ABB Sae Sadelmi, an
international general contracting company, in the electric energy
generation and transport sector , as multidisciplinary Project
Manager, where he has the responsibility for managing a project
team of traditional and turbo gas electric power plants.
In 1991 he enters in Edison Spa, as Responsible for hydraulic and
civil functions and in 1992 he is appointed Director of Engineering
Unit of the Group. From 1999 to 2004 he has also been President of
ISE, a power company later into Edison Spa.
Marco Dolcino

Professional background
- He earned a Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Milan’s Luigi Bocconi University, where he also collaborated on studies and research projects of the Department of Economics in Industry and Innovation on the microelectronics industry.
- After initial assignments in strategic planning and control at Tamoil Italia and Fininvest, he joins the Edison Group in 1990 as Controller for the International Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production operations headed by Edison Gas.
- In 1993, he is appointed Manager for Economic and Financial Assessment of international E&P projects, mainly in the UK, Egypt and Algeria, and related acquisitions. In 1994, his responsibilities are broadened to include short- and long-term natural gas/LNG importation projects, negotiations for a new framework agreement for natural gas transmission in Italy and market studies and research projects.
- In 1996, he is named Manager for Marketing Planning and Supply Source Development, playing an active role in negotiations to import natural gas from Russia and Algeria and LNG from Abu Dhabi and Qatar and in the development and marketing of natural gas reserves in Egypt. In 1998 and 1999, he serves on the Board of the Nile Valley Gas Company.
- In 1999, he becomes an assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of Edison Gas (Edison’s Hydrocarbons Operations) and Manager for Market Development Planning and Corporate Analyses, with responsibilities in the areas of strategic planning, corporate relations and the development of legislative and regulatory proposals related to the importation of natural gas, access to and use of natural gas infrastructures and the opening of energy markets. He serves as Focal Point Officer for the Hydrocarbons Operations for the rating project and the unbundling of Edison’s hydrocarbon businesses. In 2002, he is elected to the Board of Directors of Edison Per Voi, a distributor of natural gas to end users.
- In 2002, he is appointed Manager for Gas Supply and Logistics and becomes Manager for Gas Supply and International Shipping in 2007. During that period, his main responsibilities involved ensuring the development and supply management, transportation and storage of natural gas sources and supplying the Group’s thermoelectric facilities. His work in this area included startup of new long-term contracts for the supply of natural gas from Libya and Algeria and LNG, contract renegotiations, optimization of short-term and long-term sources, balancing of the natural gas portfolio and organizational evolution of operating functions.
- In February 2009, he is named Manager of the Supply Chain Optimization and Portfolio Management Department.
- Marco Dolcino has published several articles in industry publications, such as the Petroleum Economist and the LNG Journal, and for the International Association for Energy Economics. He has also lectured on the natural gas market and industry as part of specialization courses and Masters in Energy Economics programs (SAFE, LUISS University and La Sapienza University in Rome).
Pietro Cavanna

Professional background
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering in 1966 at University
of Genova, Cavanna begins his working career at Industria Gas
Butano and in 1970 he enters in Agip (ENI’s Group), dealing
with Adriatic and Ionic offshore operations and then living foreign
experiences in Libya, Nigeria and Congo (Brazzaville). Then he is
appointed Director of Production and Development of offshore plants
in Libya, General Manager and Managing Director of activities in
Egypt, General Manager of the Join Venture with British Gas in
Kazakhstan, and Senior Vice President for Africa, Middle East,
Russia and Central Asia, included Kazakhstan. From 2000 and 2005 he
is Deputy Chief Operating Officer of ENI Group for Hydrocarbons
Exploration and Production, contributing in this period to the
success of ENI in the international competition for the
exploitation of Kashagan oilfield, considered one of the most
important in the world.
From February 2007 he is Director Business Unit Hydrocarbon Asset
of Edison.
Alessandro Zunino

Professional background
After graduating in Managerial Engineering in 1992 at
Polytechnic of Milan, Zunino begins his working career at Roland
Berger & Partners firm in Barcelona, dealing with strategic
consulting for industrial sector and business services. In 1997,
after attending a Master in Business Administration at Insead, he
enters in McKinsey & Co, first in Germany and then in Italy,
where, as Associate Principal, he is responsible for managing and
defining strategies in Utilities and business-to-business
industrial sectors. In 2002 he enters in Edison as responsible for
Strategic Planning, in charge of identifying process of strategies
for the Group’s development. Then he is appointed responsible
for Marketing and then for Business Sales.
From January 2005 he is Director of Business Unit Marketing &
Sales of Edison, and Managing Director of Edison Energia, the
company responsible for energy and gas trading of the Group.
Carlo Banfi

Professional background
In 1971 he graduates in Chemical Engineering at Polytechnic of
Milan, and begins his working career at Montefibre Spa, one of the
most important companies on international level specialised on
synthetic fibres. During this period he holds various charges,
Responsible of Technical Services of different plants and
Responsible of the Production of Acerra’s plant.
In 1992 he joins Edison as Responsible of Thermoelectric Management
and in 1996 he becomes Technical Director of Electric Unit. From
2003 he is Director of the Business Unit Asset of Electric Energy
of the Group.
Massimo Quaglini

University in Milan, he begins his working career at Kraft Spa in
the Internal Auditing Department and then in 1985 he joins
Montedison in charge of Responsible for Directional Control and
Consolidation Department. In 1987 he works with Iniziativa Meta Spa
as Responsible’ s Assistant for Planning and Strategic
Control and in 1988 he enters in the Financial and Strategy
Analysis Group of Ferruzzi Finanziaria Spa, where he deals with
extraordinary Finance, portfolio Analysis and company’s
restructuring. In 1992 he joins Isvim Spa as responsible for
Consociate Coordination, then in 1993 he enters Compart spa as
Supervisor and Coordinator of the different activities of the
Group, dealing in particular with divestments of non core
activities. After two years he is appointed Senior Controller
Business Planner of Compart Spa and from 1998 he is Controller
Business Planner of Calcemento Spa and Strategy and International
Development and Planning of Heracles.
In 1999 he joins Edison Spa first as responsible for Planning and
Control of Hydrocarbon’s Unit and after one year of the whole
Planning and Control Direction of the company. In 2003 he is

Marco Peruzzi

Professional background
Marco Peruzzi started his career as project manager in the
design and construction of off-shore oil platforms, worked at the
Politecnico of Milan in stochastic analysis of steel structure,
then was a strategy consultant in U.S.A. with Arthur D. Little in
the areas of Energy and Environmental services. Back to Italy, he
held several positions in the Italian energy company ENI: he was
ENI Group Planning Manager during ENI restructuring period
completed with the flotation of the company on the stock exchange,
was involved in gas-power ventures, managed the ENI utility company
Frene, developed new power plants now running and contributed to
the establishment of the ENIpower subsidiary where he was trading
and sales director.
In Edison, as director of the Energy Management Business Unit, he
was in charge of the supply, logistics, trading and wholesales of
gas, power, fuel and financial derivatives for the Edison Group,
including the Edipower tolling he designed and realized. He was
also in charge of power plant dispatching, started the Risk
Management and the Customer Relationship Management systems, agreed
a long-term gas contract with Sonatrach (Algeria) and reviewed the
gas portfolio of the company while establishing the gas logistic
area. He established and was the C.E.O. of the Edison Trading
subsidiary, was chairman of Volta - a 50%-50% joint venture between
Edison and Gazprom (Russia) -, vice-president of the Energy Group
of Assolombarda, the largest regional organization of the Italian
industry association Confindustria.
Marco Peruzzi is today an executive director of Edison, working
with the C.E.O. in projects concerning international development
and synergies with shareholders, while negotiating acquisitions and
considering the starting up an energy efficiency and sustainable
development business area.
Mr. Peruzzi holds a 5 year master degree in structural engineering
obtained at the Politecnico of Milan and a 2 year MBA/MM obtained
at the Kellogg Northwestern University of Evanston (Illinois) with
major in finance, strategy, and marketing. Married with two sons,
he was active in non-profit initiatives and lives outside
Milan.
Riccardo Pasetto

Professional background
After graduating in Electronic Engineering at Polytechnic of
Milan in 1975, he attends a Master in Advanced Technologies and
different specialisation courses and trainings promoted by ENI. In
1977 he starts his working career at Snam Spa, where he remains
till 1999 holding different positions: Project Manager for Russian
gas network developing, Manager for Strategic Planning, Project
Manager for LNG plant in Monfalcone and General Manager for
marketing development. In 1999 he is appointed Senior Vice
President for Natural Gas Trading of Agip Spa, where he remains
till 2001, when he enters in Plurigas Spa, natural gas supplying
company constituted by AEM Milano, Amga Genova e AMS Brescia, as
Managing Director and General Manager.
In 2006 he joins Edison as responsible for Business Unit Gas Supply
and Logistics, created in order to develop gas supplying sources
and manage related processes and logistic contracts.
Pasetto is also Member of AIEE (Associazione Italiana Economisti di
Energia), of IEFE (Istituto di Economia delle Fonti di Energia in
Bocconi University), of IEA (International Energy Association) and
of IGU (International Gas Union).
Luca Pini

Sondel, in the energy sector.
2001 to 2003: Director of Planning - Control and Purchases at
Parker ITR Europe, part of the multinational Parker Hannifin Group,
world leader in fluid connectors.
Since 2003: Edison, initially as head of Planning, Administration
and Control for the Electricity Division, later becoming Group
Controller.
In April 2009 appointed head of Group Operations Performance.
Giovanni Brianza
Role:
Mergers & Acquisitions
Giovanni Brianza is Edison Director of the M&A Department.
In this responsibility he manages acquisitions, disposals and the
establishment of joint ventures for the development of the company
business.
He previously held various positions within Edison (Milan) and the
shareholder company EDF - Electricité de France (Paris).
At Edison, he was firstly engaged in developing the water
business with the start-up of International Water, a joint venture
with Bechtel. He subsequently moved to various engagements in the
power division, one of the company's core business areas; there he
focused on power generation projects in Italy.
Giovanni Brianza then served as Strategy Manager - Italy within
EDF's international division. He dealt with business
development activities in the Italian market and especially with
the takeover of Edison, jointly performed by EDF and AEM Milano
(nowadays A2A).
Back to Edison in 2006, he was appointed Director of the CEO
Office, supporting business and strategic planning
activities, managing specific M&A deals and overseeing
the work of the Corporate Steering Committee.
Prior to joining Edison, Giovanni Brianza held various positions
within the international division of Pirelli Tyres in Italy and UK
(Logistics & Production Planning).
A graduate of the Milan Polytechnic - School of Engineering
(Mechanical Engineering), Giovanni Brianza holds an MBA - Master of
Business Administration from the Bocconi School of Management (SDA
- Scuola di Direzione Aziendale).
Vincenzo Collarino

After an initial work experience as an intern, he joined the
Edison Group in 2000 as an industrial controller at the ISE Spa
subsidiary, where he handled the operational management of the
Taranto and Piombino production facilities and contractual
relations with industrial counterparties. In 2002, he was put in
charge of Planning and Management Control for ISE Spa.
Following the merger of ISE into Edison at the end of 2004, he
joined Edison’s Planning and Management Control Department,
where he initially focused on analysis and reporting activities for
the power and gas market area. In 2006, he was put in charge of
Planning and Control for the Marketing and Distribution Business
Unit.
After assuming management responsibility for the planning and
control process in 2008, he worked closely with the Company’s
top management in defining long-term objectives, ensuring that the
Company’s development plan were sustainable from a strategic,
financial and industrial standpoint.
In 2011, he was named Risk Office Manager.
Mr. Collarino holds an Engineering Degree from Milan’s
Polytechnic University and, in 2010, earned a Master of Business
Administration from the University of Chicago School of
Business.
Roberto Buccelli

Professional background
After graduating with honours in Business Administration at
Bologna University, he begins his working career at the financial
office of a primary join-stock bank , where he remains till 1990,
when he joins Montedison Management Department. In 1991 he enters
the Planning Department of the Group, remaining till December 1993,
when he is called to deal with the financial reorganization of
Ferruzzi Montedison Group, after the financial crisis of May 1993.
In 1995 he cares about the Group foreign holdings . In the same
period he holds various appointments as official receiver and
managing director of readjusting companies. In 1998 he joins Edison
as Managing Responsible, holding the same position after the
absorption of Edison in Montedison in 2002. In 1999 Edison wins the
Oscar for Best Balance of quoted companies.
From April 2007 he is Accounting Director of Edison. Buccelli is
also Business Consultant, Auditor and Director of various
Group’s Societies.
Franco Balsamo

Professional background
After graduating in Business Administration in 1985 at Bocconi
University of Milan, he starts his working career in Italian and
international banking institutions, with growing responsibilities:
at Mediobanca (as credit analyst), at Imi-Sige Group from 1986 to
1990 (as manager of stock and derived products area); then, from
1990 to 1992, at Barclays Bank Plc of Milan as Director of BU
Treasury & Capital Market , and finally at Credit Commercial de
France as Financial Director for Italy.
In 1995 Balsamo joins Montedison Group, now Edison, as Financial
Director of Fondiaria Assurance Group. In 1998 he is Finance
Director of Montedison, a position that he holds till 2002, when he
is appointed Financial Director of Edison.
Balsamo is also director of various companies of the Group and in
particular of Edipower Spa and of those belonging to the real
estate assets.
Marco Tagliapietra

After graduating in Business Administration at the University of
Parma, he begins his working career at Banca Monte Parma and at
Credito Italiano. In 1996 he joins Kraft Foods Italia as
Financial
Analyst, holding various appointments till becoming Accounts
Payable Manager and Finance Project Expert. In 1999 he becomes
Controller at Pirelli Cavi e Sistemi Spa. From 2000 to 2002 he is
Planning & Control Manager of the holding Pirelli Cavi e
Sistemi Telecom Spa. In 2002 Tagliapietra is appointed Chief
Financial Officer of Pirelli General plc, at Eastleigh in Great
Britain. In 2005 he joins Fiat Auto Spa as Group Controller. At the
end of 2005 he joins Techint Group as Chief Financial Officer of
the Engineering & Construction Business; he is then appointed
Director of Corporate Administrations and General Affairs.
From April 2008 he is Director of Merger, Acquisition &
Divestments of Edison Group.
Massimo Pernigotti

After graduating with honors from the University of Genoa with a
Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering in 1986 and working briefly
at the SGS Thompson laboratories, in June 1986, he begins his
professional career at Edison (then Selm – Servizi Elettrici
Montedison), working in the Information Systems Department, first
as a systems analyst and, later, as manager of applications
development.
During the 1988-1990 period, he attends the Two-year Masters in
Economics and Business Management Program at the Business
Management School of the “L. Bocconi” University in
Milan, earning a diploma “with honorable mention” in
July 1990.
After being named Corporate Information Systems Manager in 1993, he
is transferred to the Engineering Department in 1998, where he
serves first as Proposal Manager and later as Engineering Services
Manager.
In 2002, following Edison’s acquisition of Eurogen (now
Edipower), the largest company divested by Enel, he is appointed
Edipower’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and, in this
capacity, contributes to the development of an independent
information system for the new company.
On January 1, 2008, he is called back to Edison, where he serves as
Chief Information Officer, and is named Information Systems Manager
of Edison Spa in January 2010.
