Gabriele Albertini is the new chairman of Edipower

Milan, July 19, 2006 - A press release issued today by Edipower S.p.A. is reproduced below.
Gabriele Albertini Is the New Chairman of Edipower

At a meeting held today, Edipower’s Board of Directors, having been informed of Giuliano Zuccoli’s decision to resign from the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors, elected Gabriele Albertini Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors.

Giuliano Zuccoli will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.

In addition to serving as Chairman, Gabriele Albertini will have executive powers in the areas of control and auditing. Accordingly, he was also named Chairman of the Audit Committee.
